Northern State Parkway
Northern State Parkway to Exit 44S (Sagtikos State Parkway).
Go South on Sagtikos State Parkway, towards Ocean Beaches.
When you come to the fork in the road, stay on Southern State Parkway West. (to the right)
Stay to the right side of the Southern State Parkway for about a quarter of a mile.
Once you go past Bayshore Rd. Get off at Exit 40 South Robert Moses Causeway, (Towards Ocean Beaches) Continue South on Robert Moses Causeway, go over Bridge.
Take the Third (3rd) exit, Ocean Parkway East – Captree State Park (NOT Captree Island).
As you enter the Park, follow the signs to the Boat Basin. The Captain Gillen is located on the right side of the dock as you enter the parking lot.
Southern State Parkway
Southern State Parkway to Exit 40 South Robert Moses Causeway (Ocean Beaches).
Continue South on Robert Moses Causeway, go over Bridge.
Take the Third (3rd) exit, Ocean Parkway East – Captree State Park (NOT Captree Island).
As you enter the Park, follow the signs to the Boat Basin. The Captain Gillen is located on the right side of the dock as you enter the parking lot.
495-Long Island Expressway
Long Island Expressway to Exit 53 (Sagtikos State Parkway).

Go South on Sagtikos State Parkway, towards Ocean Beaches.

Meadowbrook Parkway - Wantagh Parkway
South to Jones Beach.
At the traffic circle, head east 14 miles on Ocean Parkway.
Ocean Parkway ends at the Captree State Park.
As you enter the park, follow the signs to the boat basin. The Captain Gillen is located on the right side of the dock as you enter the parking lot.
RT27-Sunrise Highway
Sunrise Highway to Exit 41 South Robert Moses Causeway (Ocean Beaches).
Continue South on Robert Moses Causeway, go over Bridge.
Take the Third (3rd) exit, Ocean Parkway East – Captree State Park (NOT the CAPTREE ISLAND exit).
As you enter the Park, follow the signs to the Boat Basin. The Captain Gillen is located on the right side of the dock as you enter the parking lot.
RT27A-Montauk Highway
Montauk Highway to Exit C2 South Robert Moses Causeway (Ocean Beaches).
Continue South on Robert Moses Causeway, go over Bridge.
Take the Third (3rd) exit, Ocean Parkway East – Captree State Park (NOT the CAPTREE ISLAND exit).
As you enter the Park, follow the signs to the Boat Basin. The Captain Gillen is located on the right side of the dock as you enter the parking lot.
